Gedankenskulptur - the installation
connects the idea of a scientific informatal lecture, a social and communcal space, and the possibility for the audience to interact with dancers and become dancers themselves.
The installation was built with the help of students from architecture, and communication design, and the Werkstatt- Leiter of the wood laboratory FH Trier.

The main subject of the art work is the human perception, and the experiment of an interpretation of this fragile and yet very obvious theme in an installation and action. Within the exhibition room we sat up a 2m high wood sculpture, connected with 40 screws. To make the space as anatomicly authentic as possible we adorned the wood skeletton with a tailored cloth in the color nuane of the skin / anatomy. The fabric was gathered with a call out in the internet/newspaper.

The installation in 2012 was missing 2 further elements, due to the lack of time. The concrete idea is to touch all major senses within this installation: not only by hearing the audio play, seeing the neural-like projections, touching and being touched within the interactive performance, but also by smelling and tasting.
For future exhibitions the Gedankenskulptur installation is supposed to be developed further on- with the wish to make the visitor aware of its original senses and the knowledge HOW we actually perceive these informations.
